Indian Gas Market
• Gross production of natural gas for the month of November 2025 (P) was 2900 MMSCM which
was lower by 2.4% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year.
• Total Import of LNG (Provisional) during the month of November 2025 (P) was 2812 MMSCM
(higher by 3.7% over the corresponding month of the previous year).
• Natural Gas available for Sale during November 2025 (P) was 5233 MMSCM (P) (increase of 0.9%
over the corresponding month of the previous year).
• Total Gas Consumption Availability during November 2025 (P) was 5675 MMSCM (Provisional).
Major consumers were Fertilizer (30%), City Gas Distribution (CGD) (24%), Power (10%), Refinery
(9%) and Petrochemicals (6%).
